After years of a rich career as a unique singer and as a soloist from some of the most prominent ensembles in the Israeli music scene (among them "Gazoz" with Dani Sanderson, the rock opera "Mami" and "Premiera" with Avner Kenner and Yoel Lerner), and behind her two solo albums and a large number of hits, Cohen arrives with a rich voice and an originally expressive ability on the jazz scene.
In a unique evening, with a personal and intimate tone, Mazi sings, this time in the original language, English, from the songs of Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and some more of the famous standards of the jazz world, while giving them a warm and unique vocal interpretation, with a noticeably personal character. In a festival special production, Mazi's warm and authentic singing will create an evening which is all a tribute to the best of feminine vocal jazz.
