The Stefano Bollani quintet

Jazz in a wide variety of styles, Italian folklore, healthy humor, irony and especially a sea of originality and talent are the musical blend ingredients of the new project by one of the rising stars of Jazz in the past few years-the Italian pianist Stefano Bollani who was awarded "Musician of the Year" in Italy 2006.
Bollani is the heart of the ensemble, which mostly plays his original tunes and introducing on the front of the stage two reed players combining saxophones and clarinets along with a superb rhythm section.
This project recorded and published its first CD in 2006 and been touring since in Europe, Japan and Australia.

The promising Jerusalem based Jazz vocalist Julia Feldman combines in her singing a unique interpretation along with an impressive vocal skill and high technique. Classic jazz singers and free improvisation influence her style.

Feldmans Quartet creates original and challenging music that is also influenced by Funk and Rock.

Ganelin / Volkov-Duet (Israel / Russia)
Two great artists in a joint free jazz and improvisation performance

Slava Ganelin and Vladimir Volkov met in Israel in the fall of 2005 and recorded a spontaneous duet that is about to come out on the label "Auris Media".
They are two of the most prominent artists of free jazz created in The Former Soviet Union Countries, and for the first time they will collaborate on a stage at the festival.
Ganelin, born 1944, immigrated to Israel at the end of 1980's after already becoming admired by fans of avant-garde and Free Jazz throughout the world while in the Soviet union.
Volkov, born in 1960, is considered to be the major free jazz bass player in Russia.
The interaction, openness and boldness of the two create anticipation to a surprising and absorbing show.

A journey in time to the era of great film and musical songs in glamorous Hollywood. Dalia, a jazz singer with a theatrical soul, delivers in a graceful manner swing and jazz adaptations to these songs and expresses her great love to the repertoire.
In the past, Dalia collaborated with international jazz artists such as piano player Tony Panchella and singer Nancy King who sang a duet with her.
She initiated many performances around the tunes of the American songbook and also took part in educational musical projects in the classical music field.
